Tear strips

With BVM packaging machines, it is possible to use a tear strip device. This consists of an unwinding mechanism for the tear strip, as well as a perforation.

Thanks to this perforation – in addition to the self-adhesive tear strip – the film packaging is easy to open. Whether it is a shrink-wrap package or loose bag, this tear strip system provides your customers with an elegant aid for opening the packaging.

The tear strip device is used for packaging media products and books, for example, but also for medical and automotive products. The device can be used in a wide range of BVM packaging machines, e.g. in the Compacta models of the Genius packaging machine, or also in banderoling machines, tight packers and tubular bag machines.
